How it all started

My love for dogs began in third grade when I asked for a Malamute puppy for Christmas. On Christmas morning, I was delighted to discover a female black-and-white Shih Tzu named Pepper waiting for me. Thank you, Mom! That little tenacious firecracker, brimming with personality, sparked a lifelong passion for dogs. After her arrival, I couldn't imagine living in a home without a dog. Pepper lived out her natural days with us, teaching me invaluable lessons about love, loyalty, and devotion in true canine fashion. Since then, I have been eager to learn as much as possible about our furry companions.

My dedication to walking my own dogs with utmost control led me to the idea of starting my own dog-walking business in 2015. This venture allowed me to gain invaluable experience working closely with various high-energy breeds. My passionate and unique approach inspired me to name my business "Dedicated," which represents a personal promise to my community and myself: to provide this service not merely for profit but as an enjoyable opportunity to educate less experienced clients.

I consider myself a balanced trainer, employing a diverse range of techniques from both ends of the training spectrum. As a self-proclaimed "renaissance man," I believe that understanding the basics of canine psychology, combined with knowledge of specific breed tendencies, can yield the most effective training results. Through this approach, I have achieved numerous breakthroughs with clients and their dogs over the years, particularly in the North York and Georgian Bay regions.

Now, I am excited to explore new opportunities in Durham. I am also a proud surrogate father to three dogs: Cherokee and Pocahontas, my two Siberian husky sisters who have taught me much about "littermate syndrome," and Lady Makeda, my all-black, papered German Shepherd. I eagerly anticipate where my adventures will take me from here!
